When Brianna reached out to Gluten-free Vacations, she wanted to plan a special trip to Mexico with Aldo. As someone with celiac disease, feeling safe while eating was a top priority, along with finding a beautiful resort where they could relax and enjoy their time together.

We helped Brianna and Aldo plan a stay at an adults-only all-inclusive resort in Mexico to relax and celebrate Aldo's birthday, with the goal of making their vacation as worry-free as possible.

A Vacation Without the Food Worries

For Brianna, choosing a destination where she could feel comfortable eating gluten-free was essential. As someone with celiac disease, feeling confident that her meals would be prepared safely was an important part of being able to truly relax and enjoy her vacation. As she shared, “I wanted to feel safe while eating during my vacation.”

Brianna and Aldo stayed in the resort's Preferred Club, which offered access to an à la carte restaurant for breakfast. This was especially beneficial for Brianna, as her meals could be prepared in a more controlled, stress-free environment, without the cross-contact concerns that can come with buffet dining.

Breakfast quickly became Brianna's favorite meal of the trip! She shared, “My favorite meal was breakfast, specifically the Preferred Club a la carte breakfast.”

She also told us, “I felt safe every time I ordered my food, the staff made sure what I would order was safe for me to eat.”

Snorkeling, Monkey Encounters, and Making Memories

Brianna and Aldo enjoyed snorkeling during their trip, but one of their most memorable experiences was visiting a nearby monkey sanctuary.

From exploring the area to relaxing at their all-inclusive resort, their getaway was filled with opportunities to spend quality time together and celebrate Aldo's birthday.

And apparently, they weren't quite ready for their vacation to end!

“Everything went great! We absolutely loved the resort and enjoyed our time there. Our only regret was not staying for longer!”
